When most people think about visiting Portugal, their top destination is the beautiful city of Lisbon. Although Lisbon is an amazing city, and an ultimate hotspot for tourists, Porto really is an undiscovered gem. From beautiful tiled buildings to port cellars and tastings to boat rides along the Douro river, Porto really has something for everyone. But I am here to talk to you about Porto's amazing food!

Lunch
Pande Restaurante
On holiday I love to eat where the locals eat. There is nothing better than eating great quality, fresh food among natives. Panda Restaurante will give you exactly this experience. The food is exceptional and restaurant is just beautiful. A great option for a long late lunch or an evening.

Dinner
Porta 4
Without a doubt, the best place to eat in Porto is Porta 4. The entire restaurant is comprised of 4 tables, with an outstanding set menu and wine service. Other similar dining experiences have been very expensive but not Porta 4. A 3 course meal including a bottle of wine came to 55 Euros for 2 people. The food was phenomenal and the service was flawless. An absolute must but make sure you get your table booked well in advance as they only offer two sittings per evening!
Price: Around 55 euros per couple
